Disneyland 2012

Connor got wore out fast every single day. Sunday he started packing things and wanted to go home haha, he kept telling us he missed his dogs and needed to go home and get them.
My favorite rides were of course the fast roller-coasters, big thunder, space mountain and I liked Indiana Jones.
At Star Tours I was the spy they were trying to get away to safety lol it was crazy seeing my picture (so was not expecting that) and the robots were pretty funny!!
Hotel of Terror, was my favorite at California Adventures, Connor hated the little mermaid ride (which was actually pretty cool) and loved the rocket ship ride.
Dustin and I got to find out our spirit animal (Connor was to scared :( it lit up and made a loud noise) I was a bear, and Dustin was a beaver LOL. Bear was Loving and Brave---Beaver was Hardworking and Constructive.
We were lucky to also make it to Sea World (did not get any pictures because my batteries died). Shamu and the dolphin show were pretty amazing! We also got to see a 3D movie of sesame street with Connor (which he loved!!) I got to hold a star fish and had it wrap around my hand :)---Connor tried hurting it so we hurried and put it back in the water.
Connors favorite thing at all the parks were the shows. I think he just did not know what to think about the rides. Hopefully we will get to go back when he is older so that he can enjoy the rides, but I am so glad we went at this age and got to enjoy the shows and kiddy rides (gives you a whole new sort of magic! :))

Lesson learned

So much stuff to remember when having kids. I knew there was a lot to remember and handle when being a parent. I have been told numerous of times what comes with having kids. Messy house, getting into everything, finding things that you would have never thought they would find, temper tantrums, potty training etc... etc.

I am sure that everyone has experienced half-timers. You forget for a split second or underestimate a toddlers minds; Well today was one of those days.
I put my energy drink on  the table walked in the other room to grab something. When I returned to my living room I saw CJ chugging it. Ugh, I was so angry at myself for forgetting that I left it on the table. Energy drinks, I know, are horrible for your body (I do enjoy one every now and then). Not only are they horrible for me but for children. Children have so much energy as it is. Now I have to witness my son be on the extreme today. :( This is of course a learning experience for me.

To add to my frustration, I had to bring my black lab into my house because he tangled himself on his chain and cut his throat. We are trying to heal it and are considering making him an inside dog. I swear he is a toddler in an animal body. He got into everything and destroys so much. He has chewed on everything: cords, shoes, sippy's, toys...the list is getting longer every minute.

"GOOSE--FRABA" need to take a time out and breath. Okay, feel a little better after venting.

New Direction?!

I am a stay at home mom which entitles many different things. By all means I am busy every minute of every day, but have been thinking "What is my next move?" "Where do I go from here?" things you should think of when graduating high school.
I moved pretty fast after high school. I moved in with my boyfriend, got married and had a child. I do not regret any decision I have made to this day.
Now it is time for a new direction. I should have went to college after high school, but now am considering going back.

It is something to do for myself, boost my confidence, be an example to my son, challenge myself, contribute income, and etc.
I may have figured things out a little later then most but better late then never.

I still have a while before I can make this new dream a reality. It is a process but one that I am excited/nervous about.
